Where can I park near the museum?
“The museum and the museum restaurant have their own parking lot directly behind the building. There are additional parking spaces opposite the entrance. Two bus parking spaces are located in the immediate vicinity on Deichstraße.
In which languages can I book a guided tour?
“Guided tours are available in German, Dutch, English, and French. Please reserve your preferred date as early as possible.
How far in advance can I book a tour
If you would like to book a group tour, please register at least two weeks in advance. This will ensure that you get a tour on your desired date. If you need something more last minute, we will of course do our best to accommodate you.
Can our group join a public Sunday tour instead of booking a private one
As a small group or family: no problem. But the public Sunday tours are designed for individual visitors. Accordingly, we plan the use of our guides accordingly. If you would like a guided tour of the museum with a larger group, please book it in advance with our visitor services.
How can I get regular invitations and/or posters for exhibitions
Send us an email or fax, write to us by post or give us a call. There is also a list at the information desk in the foyer. We would be happy to add you to our mailing list. If you have the opportunity to display posters for our special exhibitions, we would also be happy to add you to our poster distribution list.
Can I purchase tickets for the museum ships at the museum’s ticket counter
There are combined tickets available for visiting both the museum and the museum ships.

Groups of 15 or more per person €5.00
*Reduced rates are available for children and youth aged 7-18, students, trainees, and recipients of Hartz IV or ALG II.
Do you offer harbor cruises that can be booked at the museum?
